It's obvious they're just stalling with comic books, video games, and anime movies until enough time has passed so that they can start remaking Hollywood classics for the modern audience once the old copyright holders die off.

Then once they're done desecrating those corpses they'll come full cycle and make

etc.

It's the cycle of recycled ideas, the same stuff twirling in endless continuum until some other medium enters Hollywood's washing machine. Then whatever's new (like comic books for this decade) becomes sucked into the twirling washing machine and gets stuck in the Hollywood spin cycle till all the originality is cleaned out.

I especially liked how you tied it in with Tankmen O___o it reminds me of video game and comic forums where people come up with crazy theories linking their favorite worlds together.

Somehow the lighthearted humor didn't mix well with the serious tone of this for me. Overall I think the whole thing can benefit if the angst was toned down, but that's just personal preference.

Too ambitious

9/10 for effort, cuz the efforts there, it shows, and it's AWESOME (trust me)

However I feel it's too ambitious for a flash animation. The amount of story you're trying to compress... is just overwhelming. I'd even go as far to say it's near-undoable leading to the story spilling over in character synopsises, and extras explanations. All of this is very bad, the characters should be revealed solely through the animation not through walls of text. The story must also be clear enough to keep people interested in the deeper mysteries of the plot. After watching ep 1 and ep 2 the story still leaves me confused (in a bad way).

Hopefully all of this is resolved and I'll gladly take my words back concerning how confusing this is. But I still think it's way too ambitious to fit into flash shorts, best of luck to you.

Awesome

I'm guessing the only reason this isn't getting top top top ratings ((4.5+)) is because of graphical quality and maybe a bit of difficulty in the audio.

But honestly this is definitely a story-driven flash with great attention put toward cinematography. The scenes flow more like a movie and the story is enough to want u to search for a nonexistant episode 2.

Hope u don't dissapoint and hope this series snowballs to a Newgrounds classic :D

I'm judging this by what jokes made me laugh out loud, after all it is a comedy.

CONTAINS SPOILERS DO NOT READ BEFORE WATCHING

The ones that made me laugh:

Ep. 2
- The treadmill pushing the criminal off the side, oh the hilarity
- "bling bling"
- off I go then! (flops onto floor)
- defeating conformity!! ***poke attack!!*** that was great
- Cuboy's costume changes

ep 1
- planet Eauuuaaaeeeaaaahhhhh (with accompanying face modifications haha)
- getting water
- I shed a tear in cube form [_]
- toilet exit (his exits are the best)
- songspiration bird throwing up music
- Shooting the bird after it dies ROFL

So against popular score rating, I think the first episode was even funnier. Although ep. 2 was longer, I feel there is room in it for more jokes but ep. 1 was just absolutely packed.
Though both episodes contained the tremendous strength of oddball characters with visual charm and excellent music (oh my the credit music is just great).
